Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026. These Terms & Conditions describe the build, testing, warranty, support, documentation, data-migration, and software services RackcoreTech provides with custom-built systems. By placing an order you accept these Terms. They supplement — and do not replace — the individual manufacturer warranties on the components inside your system.
72-Hour Burn-In Testing
Every custom system undergoes a minimum 72-hour burn-in before it ships. Burn-in includes sustained CPU and GPU stress testing, full memory integrity checks, and storage benchmarking, using industry-standard tools such as AIDA64, Prime95, 3DMark, and CrystalDiskMark. A full test report is included with every system. Any unit that does not hold stable temperatures, clocks, and error-free results is re-worked and re-tested before release. Burn-in time may be extended for high-TDP, overclocked, or multi-GPU configurations. Burn-in validates stability at the tested settings; it does not guarantee identical results under different environmental conditions or third-party overclocking after delivery.
3-Year Parts & Labor Warranty
Every build includes a standard 3-year warranty covering both parts and labor, including inbound and return shipping for approved warranty repairs. An optional extension to 5 years is available at checkout. Cross-ship advance replacement of critical components is available on request so you can stay running while a part is in transit. The warranty covers defects in materials, assembly, and workmanship. It does not cover accidental or liquid damage, misuse, unauthorized modification or repair, consumables, or normal wear. Component manufacturer warranties continue to apply in addition to this warranty. To make a claim, contact us with your order number and the documentation supplied with your system.
Lifetime Tech Support
For as long as you own the system, RackcoreTech provides technical support from real engineers — not chatbots — by email, phone, and screen-share. Support covers tuning, upgrades, and troubleshooting of the system as configured by us. Average first-response time is approximately 47 minutes during business hours; complex issues may take longer to resolve. Lifetime support applies to the original system and its original owner and is intended for the hardware we supplied; issues caused by unrelated third-party hardware or software may fall outside its scope.
Full Documentation Package
Each system ships with a documentation package: a printed spec sheet, a record of BIOS/UEFI settings, fan curves, undervolt and tuning profiles, and benchmark scores — so you know exactly how the system was configured and tuned. A recovery USB and your operating-system license record are included. Please retain this documentation, as it may be required for warranty and support requests.
Free Data Migration
On request, we will clone the data from your existing drive to your new system before delivery at no additional charge. Ship us your source drive; we clone it, verify the copy, and return your original drive with the system. Optional certified secure data destruction is available if you prefer your old drive wiped or shredded. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups: while we handle your data carefully, RackcoreTech is not liable for any data loss, and you should keep an independent backup of anything you send us. Data is handled in accordance with our privacy practices.
Pre-Configured Software
Systems can be delivered with Windows 11 Pro, Ubuntu LTS, Proxmox VE, or Unraid — installed, activated, and updated. Additional creative applications or developer environments can be added at checkout. Systems are prepared with disk encryption support and TPM readiness. All operating systems and third-party software remain subject to their own license agreements; where you supply your own licenses, you are responsible for ensuring you are entitled to use them. Activation of OEM or subscription software depends on the applicable vendor’s terms.
Ordering & Quotes
Most of our systems are made to order and many are sold on a quote basis. A quote is an estimate based on current pricing and component availability and is valid for the period stated on it. An order is confirmed once we accept it and (where applicable) receive payment or an agreed deposit. Build lead times are estimates and may vary with configuration and stock. If a specified component becomes unavailable, we will contact you and, where possible, substitute a component of equal or better specification at no extra cost, or offer alternatives.
Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Custom and made-to-order builds may require full payment or an agreed deposit before the build begins; the balance is due before shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may be subject to applicable taxes and duties. Quote-only items are invoiced separately once the configuration is confirmed.
Cancellations & Refunds
Because custom systems are built to your specification, orders can be cancelled without charge before the build starts. Once assembly or component procurement has begun, a restocking fee may apply to cover non-returnable parts and labor. Standard, non-customized stock items may be returned within 14 days of delivery in original condition and packaging. Dead-on-arrival (DOA) hardware is repaired or replaced at no cost. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility except for DOA, warranty, or our error. This section is a summary — specific timeframes and fees for your order are confirmed at checkout or on your invoice.
Privacy & Data
We collect only the information needed to process your order and provide support — such as your name, contact details, shipping address, and order history — and we do not sell your personal information. Data on drives sent to us for migration is handled solely to complete the requested clone and is removed from our equipment afterward; secure destruction of your old drive is available on request. Payment details are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by us. To ask what data we hold, or to request correction or deletion, contact info@rackcoretech.com.
General
These Terms may be updated from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These Terms are a plain-language summary of the services included with our systems and are not a substitute for formal legal or warranty advice. Questions about any of the above?
